sp_createstats Error

  • Has anyone ever seen this error before when running sp_createstats on all tables in a database - and if so do you know what it means!!

    Server: Msg 515, Level 16, State 2, Procedure sp_createstats, Line 99

    Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'col_name', table 'tempdb.dbo.#colpostab__________________________________________________________________________________________________________0001001398DC'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.

    The statement has been terminated.

    Go in master, open up the sp in question. Copy the code to QA and run manually untill you hit the error.

    I'd bet it's something weird like unsynchronised user id or something similar that makes it crash.

    I'd make sure I' on SP4... just in case.
