WHen i tried to connect to a remote SQL Server I encountered the following issues. Please see the error logs and suggest the possible solution if you hvae time,
Please find the following details:-
Scenario 1
When they click on finish they are getting an error stating “Login failed for User N800\Harihan_Lavanya”
Scenario 2
When they click on finish they are getting an error stating “Login failed for User N800\Harihan_Lavanya”
Again, we also tried using Mixed Mode Authentication but it’s failing also…
1. Regarding the Connectivity Issue the SQL Server Registration Property is showing the same error during registering to the IP: 10.193.16.177. The Error screen is as following:
2.And if I try with the RunAs Current User and for the New registration to the same IP, it gives the following Error Screen:

Unfortunately I can't see the error messages so I have to guess about the errors. What you should do is first make sure that there is a login for N800\harihan_lavanya on the server you try to register. I f not a sysadmin needs to create the login for you.
If that's the case try opening a Telnet session on port 1433 from you workstation to the remote server to make sure network connectivity is ok.

I agree with MarkusB that either the user login doesn't exist in the SQL server or the Password is incorrect.
Your posting contains secure information that you should never post on a public site. Usernames, passwords, ip addresses, hostnames etc. should always be concealed. For example instead of the IP address put xx.xxx.xxx.xxx and instead of the username put MyDomain\MyLogin
Just friendly advice, you'd be surprised what someone can do with such sensitive information.
