Ever since I installed SP1 on SQL 2005 I get the following error everytime I try to look at existing or create new database plans
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
------------------------------
Failed to create the task.
------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Could not load type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Design.IDtsPipelineEnvironmentService' from assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Design, Version=9.0.242.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91'. (Microsoft.DataTransformationServices.Design)
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK
------------------------------
This is only part of the error. The error is quite long. Can anyone please shed some light on this.

I had a similar error after a password change - it turned out to be rights related. Check the rights of the account running your instance

It can't be rights related as I haven't changed them since the initial install. I'm also using the same user account on 2 other servers and they are working fine. The strange thing is it is only on that server. If I connect to that instance from another server it works fine. It's only on the the client tools on this server. Thanks for your help.

I am suspecting client tools installation.
Are you able to use same client to created task on other servers?

I can create tasks on all clients. It's only when I want to modify them I have the error on the one server. I've installed the client tools on another server and can change them from there.
