Executing fn_trace_getinfo as non system administrator

  Hello, does anyone know how to execute the fn_trace_getinfo as when the user is not a member of system administrator fixed server role ?

  I need to create a user with restricted privileges that is able to list the trace configuration.

  Sorry, but in SQL2000 you have to be a sysadmin to run trace procs.

  This is a change from SQL7 where you could grant exec on the extended

  stored procedures
