I've begun using Performance Monitor to watch a couple of servers. I'm monitoring physical disk (among other items) and % disk time and average disk queue length are going crazy. This particular server has roughly 20 physical drives and I was doing it as a total so I thought I'd monitor by partition. My partitions are c through i drives, each comprised of multiple physical drives. Anyway, when adding counters, I only see c, d, f and g. For the f:\ drive I see what appears to be 11 physical drives (I assume these make up the partition. I'm waiting on infrastructure to confirm this). Anyone seen anything like this before or can you tell me what I may be doing wrong?

What's the operating system? Is diskperf enabled for physical counters?
