LiteSpeed on VM Box - HELP!!!

    Hi,

    Has anyone attempted running a restore of SQL backup using Lite Speed on a Virtual Machine? Any issues, any success, any recommendations?

    We have been trying to restore a dB using the Lite Speed tool to a VM box and where the the restore usually takes 4 hours(VLDB) on a reg box, its taken over 20 hours on the VM...

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    No experience with LiteSpeed in a VM, but I'm using SQLBackup from RedGate in a VMWare Server + Windows 2003 Server + SQL 2005 environment with no problems.
