Error 17803 Clustered Windows 2000 Server

  • Running Win 200 Adv. Server and SQL Server 2000 Cluster with /3GB PAE.  Found KB artcles mentioning this kind of error in conjunction with running a create index or dbreindex on a database in simple or bulk logged recovery model.  I cannot find any index jobs that correlate to the time of the error.

Anyone else seen this type of error before?

  • Hey Bryan,

Did you ever find any resolution to this? We are getting the same on our clustered server running Win 2000 Adv. Server and SQL Server 2000 Cluster with /3GB switch

    TIA

  • SP4 is supposed to address this issue:

  • Thanks for the reply Noel. This cluster is already at SP4.
