Hello,
I would be grateful if someone would kindly point in the right direction for the resolution of this error from my SQL Server 2000 error log.
3-Nov-2005. 8:50:15 - open_connection 3 szErrorMsg=[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]SqlState=08001 pfNativeError=109 pcbErrorMsg=50 ODBCRowNumber=0 SSrvrLine=0 SSrvrMsgState=0 SSrvrSeverity=0 SSrvrProcname= SSrvrSrvname=
3-Nov-2005. 8:50:15 - open_connection 3 szErrorMsg=[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]ConnectionOpen (LoadNetlibs()).SqlState=01000 pfNativeError=109 pcbErrorMsg=81 ODBCRowNumber=0 SSrvrLine=0 SSrvrMsgState=0 SSrvrSeverity=0 SSrvrProcname= SSrvrSrvname=
This is an intermittent error and causes the clients connected to the database to disconnect.
Many thanks,
Nick.

Is it possible that the application is attempting to get sql server error diagnostic information and that portion of the client code is failing ?
