Hi All,
I am little confuse here!! if you can clear my confusion about installation of MSDE.
I did installed it but now if i am trying to access from diffrent computer with SQL EM it says that it not exist and on the computer with MSDE is shows that the MSSQLservices and agent is running!!
How can i connect to the MSDE now??

Sounds like a security issue to me. Are you using a Windows account or a SQL account to connect? Make sure that the account has access.

If you did a defaut install of MSDE then you will need to manually enable the appropriate network protocols before the server is accessible on the network.
Use the Server Network Utility located in ..\mssql\80\Tools\Binn.. ( I Think )

H!!,
The networlk protosols is disabled in your MSDE ,to resolve this secario you have to give DISABLE NETWORK PROTOCOL =0 which configuring desktop engine.
