Log Shipping replication

  All:

  I've assigned to setting up Replication using log Shipping.  It appears to me the the primary server will need to be Enterprise edtion.  What I'm clear on is file the DR server will need to be Enterprise edition as well.

  The secondary needs to be Enterprise or Developer edition.  See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314515

  Hi,

  you need Enterprise Editions only if you want to use the out-of-the-box logshipping procedures, if money is scarce you can allways implement logshipping by yourself. In that case Standard Edition will do on each server...
