How do you attach remotely stored databases in Enterprise Manger???
What we have!!!!
We have a SQL Server which currently has SQL server 2000 running and has around 30 databases.
What we want!!!
We have purchased a new NAS box where we want to store the Databases and contiune doing the SQL processing on our SQL server.
Is this possible? Can any 1 help?

How do you actually attach the DB. When I choose All tasks > Attach > It only gives me the option add local DB's

There is a trace flag listed in the first linked article that you have to enable before a network drive/share will show up in the GUI when you go to attach or create a database. Be careful implementing databases on NAS, the performance will probably be lacking. If you can put up with that, giive it a shot.
