Client Network Utility (bug?)

    Hello Everyone,

    In the Client Network Utility I can see that Named Pipes and TCP/IP are in the list of "Enabled protocols by order" and also in the list of "Disabled protocols". At the same time. Never seen that before.

    Is it a known bug?

    I've noticed some clients that did not have any network protocols enabled but were still visible on the network. Since I typically enable protocols or disable them on install, I've only seen it on people machines where they've changed the settings back and forth.

    I've never seen it documented as a bug. However, if go looking into the MSSQL registry settings, you might find the protocols enabled/disabled when you think otherwise...
