  hi;

  *a-* How can i disable(stop) agent of merge replication by T-SQL commands?

  I want to add a field to a table that it is used in Active Merge Replication, Please check my way in below stages, Is it correct??

  *a-* Stop Merge Replication

  b- Add Field(s)

  c- Run Snapshot

  d- Start Merge Replication

  Don't do that.  If you're just adding fields, use sp_repladdcolumn.  Look it up in books online.  This can be done without stopping the merge agent.
