Installing ODBC Driver on SQL Server to create DSN for linked server??

    We are moving from Pervasive to SQL Server. I have successfully added a linked server to my local instance of SQL Server on my desktop and can access data on the Pervasive DB just fine. Due to the fact that I also have Pervasive installed on my desktop I can create a datasource for the linked server easily. Now I want to create the Data Source on my SQL server which is clustered(2 nodes). I need to install the Pervasive ODBC driver on the 2 nodes so I can create the Datasource so I can add the linked servers. Can I install just the driver and register it or would I actually have to install Pervasive on the SQL Server(both nodes?) for the PERvasive driver to show in my ODBC manager interface?

    To be on the safe side we installed Pervasive client tools on both nodes of our cluster set up the DSN on both nodes and the linked servers work great.
