I have a second instance of sql server running on a cluster environment. However sql agent doesnt seem to be working on this second instance. Any idea why this is happeneing if someone has seen this problem before? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look in cluster administrator, you will see it online.

1. look in services. Is it set for Automatic or Manual start (or worse yet...disabled)
2. In cluster admin, is it set for any dependancies? Compare it to the other instance's agent service.

check the service start-up account, and also check application event viewer for that instance
