Changing color of comments in Query Analyzer

    Hi,

    I have a script opened in Query Analyzer. I want to change the font color for a particular comment section. I do not want to update the font color for all comments. I need to change the font color only for the particular region I selected. Will that be possible?

    Do you mean formatting it from a front-end application ? or just in QA ? If its the latter you can right click on the selected portion and use the "Font" property and change the font/color..or any of the available attributes.

    Hi,

    I tried by right clicking on selected portion and changing font. But it is changing font color for the whole script not just for the selected portion. I have made it working by using select statement in front. Now the selected region appears in Red since I have used Select statement and placed the comments inside quotes. That serves my purpose. The reason I need to change the font color is to remind me to run another script before proceeding further in the script.

    You are right..it applies to the entire Editor and not just for the selected part. I did play around with all the options and I doubt if you can do it like that ..
     
    The other workaround could be to leave a few line breaks enough to be noticeable and write your comments in CAPS.
