Report Preview in RDC over ODBC connection

I encountered "Server has not yet been opened" error in Crystal1.PreviewReport.
Pls help!

I've gone through that, but my RDC over ODBC is still having same error...
My application is running on MS SQL Server 7 with Crystal Report dlls version 7. The message will not appear when there is records pass to the smart report viewer.
Any workarounds?

Sushila, thanks for your help. I've resolved it by using DSN connection string.
