Hi All,
I plan to distribute my applications with MSDE for smaller clients who can't afford the full SQL Server.
I need a way of allowing them to configure the database etc. Is there a free IDE (something like Enterprise manager) that I can distribute ?
Thanks

Microsoft provides a free web tool that will let you do what you are talking about. Here is an article that points to some other tools as well: http://sastools.com/b2/post/79394219

I stumbled across this web based product today while reading something else but haven't had a chance to try it out yet:

Users need to be running IIS 5.0 or better to use it. They have a 'lite' version with limited functionality that's free. Hope this helps.
