Hi,
I have a multiuser DB using ADP, each user needs to log on with a differnt login info ofcourse, my problem is that the aplication is still in progress and needs to be updeted frequantly.
I'm trying to use an UDL file instead of the the one in the ADP (file->connection), but it keeps going to the ADP connection first.
so I have to change this information on every station every time i update the application !
any advise ?
thanks,
Gilad

If ADP means Access Project, then go to Microsoft KB and look article id 305388. There is a resolution for this.

Hi Jimmy,
thanks for your reply,
yes i did mean Access Project.
I've already read that article, and implemented it.
however, Istill need to have SOMETHING in the connection in the access and it only let you enter it if the information is correct.
it can work, but I would like to know if someone did it already and is working with it.
thanks,
gilad

mmm interesting.
Nobody seems to use this method of an UDL file a connection to the SQL server, so maybe there is a better way of doing it ?
