Run complete backup on Primary Log Shipping Server? Bad?

  Sounds like dump question and it may be it.

  Assume that you have SQLServerA which is production server for logshipping and SQLServerB for standby server.

  And assume there is Logshiipping running every 1 hour after the initial complete backup is done.

  So, question would be, if you run seperate daily job to run complete backup on production server at 5:30am, is it going to screw all the logshipping stuff?

  I would guess, it would and can't run any complete backup on primary database and I need to know for fact that is true.

  The complete backup on primary database has NO impact on log shipping from data integrity view point.
