Hi all,
SQl server is running on a server.From the server I tried to go from programs and under microsoft sql server I cannot see Enterprise manager tool.How will I make that available?

Which version of SQL Server do you use, MSDE?

Microsoft sql server enterprise edition 2000.SP3 installed.

Did you install the EM during the installation? Check whether "SQL Server Enterprise Manager.MSC" file is in location "\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn".

Hi,
No .I don't see the file on the firectory.So I have to put the sql server install cd on and set up the component to install the EM.

Under Start>Programs>Microsoft SQL Server can you find:
Books OnLine
Query Analyzer
I'm guessing they aren't there either. Those (and EM) are installed as part of the Client Tools. They are usually installed with SQL Server, but you or whoever did the install may have de-selected the Client Tools.
Use the install disk and just select the Client Tools.
