I've changed the SQl Server Service Account with a non-administrative account (ref. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;283811) but the service don't start.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
PS. I've my SSQL Server Standard on a win 2000 std service pack 4 and the user is SysAdmin on Sql Server security.

Are there any relevant entries in the application log for your Windows install? That would be my first port of call. You may well find an entry about not being able to access certain system resources.

none for install.
In case of start of sql server agent there is the following message:
Source Service control manager
Event ID 7000
Message: the sqlserveragent service failed to start due to the following error: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Does the service account you used have sysadmin rights within the SQL Server?

yes the account have sysadmin right.
I've installed an other machine with Sql Enterprise edition with the same account and the installation program has been created the privileges right for the domain account used.
The problem is get the necessary rights without new installation....
