Does anyone know of any log explorers other than Lumigent?
I have an issue that I need to run down but the cost of Lumigent is outside of my nearly non-existant budget.
Thanks

I was just looking a ApexSQL's Log product on their website last week. I haven't downloaded a demo yet, but it's priced right. http://www.apexsql.com
There's also Log PI. from Coherent Software. There's a review on this site.

There's also DBCC LOG. It's undocumented and it's output isn't pretty, but it's free. Here's an article about it: http://www.mssqlcity.com/Articles/Undoc/SQL2000UndocDBCC.htm

If you have a little time, you might want to watch out for the log explorer product that Red Gate has coming out. If it as good and as inexpensive as their other products it will be a sweet deal.
They are just starting a beta on it.

I use LogPI. Like it so far. Saved my behind once or twice when a user accidentally deleted some data.
http://www.logpi.com I believe is the URL.

DBCC LOG is tough to make sense off. I think 3rd partly log readers is the way to go. Lumigent is good - but pricey ofcourse. Have not tried the others
