Im currently developing an application (in Visual Basic) where the requirements involve the users having the ability to write ad hoc SQL queries. To make this as user friendly as possible, Id like to integrate a query builder (very much like the one you see throughout MS SQL Server 2000) into the application. Are the MS Query builders accessible through an API anywhere? Does anybody know of any other third party libraries that might help me achieve my goals? Is there any free Query Builder code out there that anyone knows about?

I think you can embed microsoft english query into projects...I just installed it myself and it asked me if i wanted the runtimes installed as well...maybe you could look at that ? apart from that, i dont know of any...You could probobly get a third party one in though..
