How would you go about writing "plug-ins" or extensions for Enterprise Manager, if possible? Doe's it have an extensible architecture at all?

Ben,
Just run MMC from command line and then you can add pretty much anything you want to it. Once you have added what you want you then save the configuration (***.msc) and then all you need to do in the future is open the new msc as follows "mmc.exe ***.msc"
Hope this helped
Thanks,

I'm aware that Enterprise Manager uses MMC, and I'm fairly familiar with creating custom MMC snap-ins in COM based languages like Delphi.
What I meant was, how would you go about adding new menus and repsonding to events from within the Enterprise Manager MMC snap-in? Is there any documented API's. Do any third-party companies provide EM extensions?
Thanks
Ben

ah...
To my knowledge and use of EM no. I think EM is used as an admin tool only and not to be used in anything other than a "viewer" type app.
If you do find out I would be interested in it though.
Good Luck
