Copying Diagram?

    Is there an easy way (script?) to copy the structure of a Diagram, and then rebuild it as needed. Specifically, I'm running SQL Server 2000, and we need to drop and re-import (from Access) several tables. We don't want to loose 99% of the current relationships and constraints when the tables are removed and replaced. Plus, we like the diagram.

    I know that if you modify your Diagram, you can then generate a script of your changes. I want to be able to generate a script even if I haven't made any changes (i.e. I want all the info for the diagram in a script).

    Any little bit can help.

    in enterprise manager select the database you want to script,

    Select menu Tools -> Generate SQL Script...

    Click Show ALL

    Check Script All Objects

    On the options tab check all the options you might be intrested and click OK

    Thanks for the info, Lawrence. However, I was hoping that there would be a way to reproduce the diagram itself. It doesn't seem possible at the moment - maybe Yukon will include this ability.
