Both SQL Server 2000 EE, Windows 2000 Adv Server are on the primary and secondary servers. For the monitor server, does the monitor server have to be a real server or can I use a PC with Enterprise Manager installed on it.
Also, I currently backup my Transaction Logs nightly, with the log shipping, I 'assume' I can kill my TA Log backups? Right?

Dear Friend
I have a Question for u while Using Log Shipping. I have one Primary Server and one Secondary Server. Both my Servers and having same congiguration and working fine. But suddenly my Primary Server has failed due to some reason. I have changed the IP addresss of my Secondary Server from My Primary Server. Will this ok to start my Secondary server as My Primary Server and one command is there to start the Secondary server i dont know what that command is. Pls any one can help me out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance
