Replication

    After a power failure, we now have two servers (Publisher, subscriber) that wont talk to each other. All the agents are erroring, saying that the target server does not exist. The server is definately there, and the two machines can talk to each other.

    What can I do to get the replication started again?

    Can you run a remote query from both servers to both servers? Run sp_helpserver to see if the servers are registered.

    Run from the command line the distribution (or merge) agents to check the error, and post it here.
