  A product we are using mandates that Mixed Mode Authentication be used. Users are created through the product and these users have their SQL Logins created automatically with all appropriate permissions set.

  If I understand Mixed Mode properly, our Domain Users will have access to SQL Server through Enterprise Manager. Please correct me if this is not correct. If this is correct, how do I then deny Domain Users from gaining access to the data through EM?

  Hi Dave in order for domain group/users to get access they will need to have appropriate permissions to the sqlserver.
