  Hi All,

  I've got SQL2000 Standard Edition on two servers and I'm trying to set up the log shipping as on the SQL2000 resource kit. But I can't get the Target server to recognise the Trans BK's on the source. I've checked everything to do with Windows permissions and they are both linked servers (This is what The resource kit tells me is the problem).

  So basically I want to know how I can do a remote transaction log backup

  Any clues???

  Backup log to a share folder which can be accessed by both servers using UNC path.

  backup log pubs to disk = '\\servername\foldername\pubs_log_20040610.bak'
