I don't find a lot of information on Master Console usage and enterprise-level automation of all SQL Servers. I'm used to managing around 100+ servers and I find MC the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm interested in hearing reasons on why and how you use MC in your environments, or why you don't use it.

Do you mean the MMC snap-in?
I like it, mostly. I think the management tools for SQL Server have improved with each revision -- anyone remember the pain that was administering SQL Server 4.whatever? Bleah. 6.5 was a vast improvement.
I do have some gripes with the MMC, though -- I quite regularly get run-time errors while populating the "Task" view for a database, and I also dislike the response times, and I've only got a dozen or so servers!

The plug-in is much better than the 6.5. But I meant Multi-Server Administration option. In 7.0, it was called Master Console. Not a lot of people seem to use it. MSX and TSX might ring their bells though.

I use it to manage all of my routine "monitoring" jobs. (backups, space check,...). I find it works well once you've successfully registered a TSX. Finding out why a TSX will not register is very difficult. There is very little information available and MS has implemented a nebulous 22026 error code for nearly all registration problems.
