Hi. I am running SQL Sever 2000 with the latest SP. I had some diskspace errors over the last couple of weeks, which I have created workarounds for. But, I now have 1.2 G of free space in a database that I cannot clear. Everytime I try to shrink the file I get:
Error 3314: Error while undoing logged operation in database 'xxxxxxx'. Erro at log record ID (xxxx:xxx:xx).
I am using a simple backup recovery model.
Any help would be much appreciated.

How much free disk space do you have? You will need some free disk in order to shrink the database.

Sorry for the late reply. I have cleaned up enough space for now to do the shrink. But the problem did start because I have a step in my nightly backups to shrink my 2 largest databases before backing them up and it did run out of space.
