Is there such a thing 'SQL Server 2003'?
What is the next version of SQL Server after SQL Server 2000? Is it out yet? Thanks.

No, not out yet. It is currently called Yukon and I think it's to be released Qtr04 2004.

Ray,
I've heard SQL Server 2004 is expected out in 3rd or 4th quarter of 2004.
Have you heard anything about when they will start selling SQL Server 2004 licenses?
I am going to have to buy some soon and I would prefer to get the 2004s, if possible.
Thanks.

I don't know the financial details but MS has something called software assurance that you can buy at an enterprise agreement or by the server which guanrantees you teh current license and the next three years worth of upgrades.
I have no idea when MS will start selling Yukon Licenses, for that you might post a question to MS SQL Server newsgroups.
HTH
