Anyone know if it's possible to open a *.sql file from Windows Explorer with Query Analyzer? It's troublesome to fire up QA, login, and now try and search for the location of that *.sql file that I've already found in Windows Explorer. Too bad I can't drag and drop a .sql file into QA. I have .sql files stored in different drives and folders and it's troublesome to navigate back and forth sometimes.
It would be a whole lot easier if I can double-click a .sql file and QA would bring up the login screen, and then open that file.

Just create the association in Win Explorer. If you double click the .sql file and it doesnt open, it should give you the list to browse to select a program. Choose ISQLW, click ok. After that it should work.

Even better open QA then choose Tools->Options and on the General tab you will find a checkbox item labeled "Select SQL Query Analyzer as the default editor for query fiel extensions" and in the "Query File Extension:" text box you should find "*.sql", press apply and you are good to go.
