Hi Gurus,
I found that whenever my procedure is called, it is precompiled. Is there any way I can tell SQL Server not to precompile a particular stored procedure ?

Check out my article on Stored Procedures and Caching on this site. It covers some of the reasons for recompiles. I culled it from a variety of sources, so there's nothing earth-shattering.
