  Hi all

  I know that you cant create triggers over tables that use the TEXT data type (any binary blob really), utilising the 'inserted' and 'deleted' tables. I really need to get around this problem and only extract out the 1st 7500 characters of the text blob column and audit that.

  Any ideas / thoughts?

  How about using an instead of trigger?
