Which editions of SQL Server can be run on winXP Professional OS, I tried to run personal edition SQL 2000, but got the compatibility error. Do I need any updates for this?

I run SQL 2000 Personal with no issues on XP Pro.
What compatability error?

Thnx Steve,
It was while installing the SQL server, the XP gave the message - "not on the list of XP compatible software, might need upgrade contact the vendor"
Anyways I was able to install the enterprise trial version. so all's well now 🙂
But there's another XP issue, while installing XP, it hanged many times, and only when I connected my web cam to USB port the installation was complete and now each time I start my computer, I have to attach the web cam or else XP hangs. Any idea how to solve this?
Thnx

No idea there. I have very little on my XP machine. Try not to mess with the computer I need to work.
