I have a major situation.....Is there a way to recover data from db that was not backed_up?

In the db itself, or from the log file? Log Explorer by Lumigent might help. If you've deleted it and the log has been truncated I think you are out of luck.

If you are referring to a lost server that had to be restored and you have the DB file in question, if it was not corrupted you may be able to use sp_attach_db to a reserve or primary server to get to it. If the database is the one corrupted and you don't have all transactions since the last backup then I would suggest no (even if Log Explorer or some other tool could get some you may create data inconsistancies due to missing transactions).
