We have two servers, one an application server and one a database server with sql server7 /NT4. The vast majority of activity on the dB server is generated from the apps server. I would like to install an additional NIC card in both machines and create a private subnet for the two servers to communicate with each other. I would like to still have the ability to access the dB server SQL server databases both from the app server and the rest of the network. It this possible and how would I tell sql server to “listen” to both network cards?
Thanks
