Hi,
Question #1:
-------------
As per my knowledge SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition running on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise can use upto 2GB of memory by default.
Once AWE is enabled, it can use upto 4GB of RAM and when the /PAE switch is added to boot.ini file, SQL can go beyond 4GB of RAM.
Am i correct?
Question #2:
------------
Can "AWE" and "Working Set size" work simultaneously on a single server with 8GB of RAM? I read somewhere that if "AWE" has to be used then working set size option should be switched off.
Is this correct?
Thanks.
