SQL Server running jobs do not show up as running

     I have a SQL 2000 SP3 active/passive cluster on Win2003 SP2. When I run jobs in SQL Server Agent, Jobs they do not show up as running but they start and end fine. And yes, I am refreshing the Jobs screen. Any ideas why this is not working ? When I look in Current Activity the job is running .

    You mean to say that you don't get the executing thing in the sql agent process. Looks weird but you have you not upgraded to SP4. Do that and check if that reoccurs.

    Oddly enough I ran a couple of Update Stats jobs on two of our SQL 2000 SP4 and the jobs do not say executing either... hum....
