Send Mail fails

    Send Mail from one of our applications fails after installing Patch KB815495-818. Any ideas?

    We are running Windows 2000 Server sp v 4 build 2195.

    SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition with SP3 8.00.818.

    It appears that our application used a trigger to execute xp_sendmail, SQL returns a response to the effect that the mail has been sent. Our application did not expect a response and treated it as failed. I have advised the developer to rewrite his application around this.

    Maybe if you provided a bit more info, like server version and error message, we might have an idea to give you
