The priority boost configuration option

    Hi everyone,

    I wonder what could be the bad effects of settings this option to a higher level than the default of 7 (let say to 13 or higher).

    There is no other apps running on this box.

    Will the OS be restricted?

    Anyone having tried that? Anyone having information to share on that?

    I haven't really experimented with this, though I've thought about it. Much of what I've read in books and from the guys at Sysinternals seems to indicate that this isn't really a good idea. If nothign else is running then I'm not sure what a priority boost gives you.
