Hi -
I'm very new to SQL Server and will probably be posting here often for help. So far, I've obtained alot of information from this site that's been helpful. I've been placed on a team to help our company convert Oracle RDB databases running on VMS(yes, you can laugh) over to SQL 2000. Alot of these Oracle tables have hashed indexes on them. Any suggestions/pitfalls when importing them? I was also told that Oracle RDB has a feature that when an area gets over-extended, that area can be re-built. Is there a feature similiar to this in SQL 2000?
Thanks in advance,
Jennifer
