why the avatar picture you use

  • As you can see i have none (On this forum)

EDIT: as the day goes by time to get mine also fixed (used this 1 as long as i can remember)

there are several who uses a RL photo of themself.

There are quite a few i think that are starwars fans here.

So just wondering what is the motivation why you choose youre avatar picture as it is now?

  • There was a chat about Babylon 5 one day and I decided to switch. I'm too lazy to make it something else. That's about it.

  • We had a starwars weekend some time back (good couple of years). Just about everyone had a starwars avatar and used starwars-style phrasing and idioms. I just never bothered switching back.

Yep. Wouldn't have bothered probably. I'm not overly driven by it. Just as the mood strikes, put something quasi-meaningful up.

  • I've used several. Current one (from Galaxy Quest) is because someone noted we had Babylon 5, Star Wars, Star Trek, and all kinds of sci fi avatars on a particular thread, while mine was a picture of me at that time. So I added yet another sci fi one.

I'll probably change it again soon. Getting bored. Probably time to go to something that has no bearing on me at all this time. Or maybe another iguana picture.
