Good day,
I'm moving from the dev side to the admin side, so I'm researching the monitoring tools available. We've got about 30 boxes, mostly 2000, some 2005. We're not looking for anything out of the ordinary, just usual monitoring and alerts. Set some thresholds for cpu, memory, long running queries, long running jobs, fragmented indexes, db space, log space, failed logins, etc...
After reading the forums, I plan on demoing Idera's Diagnostic Manager, Quest's Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise, and Red Gate's SQL Response. I was wondering if there's other big names I should take a look at. And I'll take any other opinions / suggestions / comments you'd like to offer up.
I appreciate the time. Thanks!

I'd go with those. sqlSentry has a performance monitor that looked outstanding when I saw it at TechEd.
