  • Thanks for the question. Has anyone tried this?

  • Thanks Boss

    Thanks

  • Nice question made more interesting by the knowledge that "blob" is a slang word for condom in some parts of the UK. 😉

  • You may want to fix the small typo in the explanation, as reading about BLOG storage solutions could be confusing. 😉

  • This MSDN article gives the same information as the one in the explanation, but also has a word on security--for those who're interested in this topic.

Thanks Steve for another nice question.

    Regards,

    Michael

  • Interesting question. I did not know you could do this, thanks.

  • Had no idea but went with REMOTE... 😀

  • Typo fixed, and glad you liked the question. It's a new feature, and I don't know anyone using this personally, but there are a few case studies out there for people that have large blog stores.

It also seems to be used in Sharepoint more often: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee748649.aspx

  • wow - cool feature. Learning something new.

  • Nice question Steve. I am pleasantly suprised at the correct answer percentage. I guess a lot of people are familiar with this new optional feature of 2008 R2. 😎

I think most people are just using basic logic -- it sounds most plausible of the four answers provided. Distributed BLOB Store was the only other option that sounded like it could be the correct answer. I didn't know of this feature, but Remote BLOB Store was my answer. 🙂

  • Nice question, thanks.

Need an answer? No, you need a question
