How to compare data in tables of different dbservers

    Hi,

    I am writing a stored procedure to synchronise two databases which are in different servers. In order to synchornise two databases i need to compare two databases. How can i do this. i think linked servers helps me. Please suggest me .

    You have to compare every table and every column. There's no easy way to do this.

    There are a number of compare tools, Red Gate, Apex SQL, and more, that will do this. At $300, you couldn't get anywhere near the same thing done with your time for that price.
