Will sql server 2005 work with BEA weblogic 10.3.5(11gR1)

    Hi,

    I am doing a weblogic upgrade to 10.3.5 and in the oracle documentaion It says that

    Bea weblogic 10.3.5 should have sql server 2008 R2.

    Currently I am using sql server 2005,I dont want a sql upgrade right now.Is there any other way to use sql server 2005 with Bea Weblogic 10.3.5.

    I heard that with use of some drivers we can use sql server 2005 with Weblogic 10.3.5.

    Please advice

    As far as I'm aware, Weblogic just uses JDBC drivers - these support pretty much any version of SQL Server. I seriously doubt that there's anything fundamentally incompatible about it, so it's more of a case of whether Oracle will support your configuration or not (or whether you need them to)

    Have you got a link to the document that says it's only compatible with SQL 2008 R2?
