Restoring multiple databases thru script

    Hi all...

    I have approx 25 db's that I need to restore to the SQL 2000 instance on my computer. I have all the backups in their respective folders on my D Drive. Is there a script out there that will restore all of them in one swoop?? I have a script but it looks like DOS stuff and I no comprende!

    If the format of your backup file is the same with the MSSQL 2000 format e.g. dbName_db_YYYYMMDDHHMM.BAK maybe this will help

    Thank you Lester! I have several with ndf files as well....will it work for those too?? I will look it over tomorrow!! thanks again! 😀

    Sorry to say angelin as of now the script only restores 1 mdf and 1 ldf if i have time i will try to modify the script to include multiple ndf's and ldfs
